In this course beginners will gain a basic understanding of mosaic processes,
while the experienced student can continue to explore mosaics as a creative
medium, experimenting with a variety of materials. There is a cost of £15.00,
to be paid to the tutor to cover materials. Please bring a pair of tile
nippers.
Watercolours:
Landscape and Still Life
10am-1pm John Crossland £180
The course is based on the 'wet-into-wet' technique as well as dry washes.
Students will be introduced to the medium's fascinating applications. The
work of Singer Sargent and Winslow Homer will be studied and worked from.
Mixed
Media 'Open Painting' Collage - Landscape
10am-1pm (Morning Class) Krystyna
Shackleton Dzieszko £180
This course considers new ways of approaching landscape and other subjects
creatively. You will work from sketches and photographs. Please bring at
least two photographs and sketches. Focus will be on developing ideas into
painting, combining wet and dry media; pencil, wash, pastel, & acrylic.

Life Drawing

This course is suitable for beginners as well as experienced students who
wish to explore different mediums and approaches to drawing the nude.

Jewellery Making
& Design
2:30-5:30pm Drew Perridge

Complete beginners can learn how to design and make their own jewellery.
Basic techniques will be covered including saw piercing, filing,
soldering, texturing and the forming of metal. Brass and copper will be
used initially, moving onto silver.
Mixed
Media 'Open Painting' Collage - Landscape
2-5pm (Afternoon Class)
Krystyna Shackleton Dzieszko £180
This course considers new ways of approaching landscape and other subjects

bring at least two photographs with an A4 colour photocopy of each and
sketches. Focus will be on developing ideas into painting, combining wet
and dry media; pencil, wash, pastel, & acrylic.
Fundamental
Skills in Painting
2-5pm Nigel Caple £180
Develop skills in painting and drawing for both figurative or non-figurative works. Classes will be structured
around a variety of projects designed to develop your abilities and confidence
with composition, design and colour. Medium: acrylics.
Evening
Open
Painting Studio

Both abstract and representational approaches will be encouraged to give students the opportunity to develop their own approach,
as well as a diverse look at landscape, interiors and imaginative themes.

Making and Design

This course will explore both life painting and portraiture. The class
